Beijing pake international engineering consulting co.ltd(puhca for short),established in september 1993,is the first chinese-foreign joint venture in engineering consulting and supervision services.it is a "foreign investment company with advance technology"
It is construction supervision unit of class A of the state level, and has taken the lead in passing the authentication of quality system ISO9002.it undertakes mainly the consulting,information service,supervision and engineering projects in china and abroad,it also under takes the development and implementation of computer systerm.
From its establishment till june 1999,PUHCA has taken on 7engineering projects of cunsuting and supervision works,with a total construction area of 2,580,000 sq.m.and a total construction contrat cost o 8150 miliion yuan. During implemention of supervision,We took thecontract management as key link,took the quality control as focal point,implemented"the three controls,the two managments and the one coordinations"in all-round way.Among the completed engineering projects,three of them won "the Great Wall Cup" of Beijing,one of them was appraised to be the high-quality mini-residental quarter of Beijing,three of them were appraised to be the high-quality projects of Beijing,one of them was awarded the first year's(1997)"Great Wall Cup" of structure of Beijing,Moreover,many other projects were appraised to be the high-quality projects by the quality control department of the gavement.PUHCA was recommended a "Advanded Unit"for professions in Beijing project management in 1998.
PUHCA devoted much attention to the strengthening and management for intself,used the advanced international experiences in project management for reference to establish the standarized,normalized,institutionalized management models suited to our national conditions,drew up <<Quality Manual>>,<<Document for Quality System Procedure>>,<<Construction Supervision Manual>> and various corresponding regulations and systems.
PUHCA has many experienced engineering experts and professional technical personnel having engaged in engineering design,construction,management and economic management for long period of time, All the main engineering experts and professional technical personnel have participated in the international supervision of the World Bank loaned projicts and the oversea project. A part of supervision engineers have received training in HongKong construction supervision seminar.There are tolally 130 staffs at the present.among them,the sinior engineers and middle level staffs are 70%,the registered supervision engineers account for 50% of the totalengineering technical personnel in the company.
